We believe preschoolers are active learners who progress through a somewhat predictable cycle of development. Children are uniquely created by God, and our developmentally appropriate curriculum is designed to teach spiritual, emotional, and cognitive concepts that allow them to grow and mature according to the individual plan God has destined for each child. “I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” - Psalm 139:14
Children require consistent, loving boundaries as part of their social and emotional development. Reasonable and realistic limits in an enriched learning environment, allow children the opportunity to make appropriate pro-social choices in behavior and play. Redirection, consistent actions, praise, positive reinforcement, and encouragement are integral part of proactive discipline. Discipline must be relevant to the offense and applied promptly. In extreme cases, parents will be contacted for prompt conferencing.
We want our students to know the truth of God and apply it to their daily lives. We want them to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ. We want them to develop a godly perspective and Christian view. Jesus replied, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind." Matthew 22:37
Our educational philosophy is Christ-centered, as well as child-centered.
